Why we made it this way

Star Catch is a one-minute round on purpose: long enough to get absorbed, short enough for a break at work or between classes. Stars are worth 1, candy 2 and the big 🌟 3, and every 5 catches in a row raises your combo multiplier, up to ×5. The catch notes climb a little scale as your combo grows.

We wanted it 'just tricky enough'. The sky speeds up over the round, but if you miss a lot it quietly eases off, so a struggling player gets a gentler sky. Sleepy clouds only reset your combo; you never lose points or lives, and confetti comes only when you beat your best.

Drag anywhere, hover the mouse, or use the arrow keys. Everything is shown on screen, so it works muted, which makes it an easy catching game for a desk break and simple enough for kids.
