The short version

• No accounts, no sign-up, no cookies, and no text boxes in our games.
• The mood you pick is never saved on your device, never put in a web address and never shared with advertisers.
• Your sound setting and best scores are saved only in your own browser (local storage) and never leave your device.

Analytics

We use two cookieless tools to learn which moods and games people use, so we can make better games.

• PostHog (US cloud) runs without cookies or local storage, so each visit is anonymous. It records page views and a few events: which mood card was tapped (only the mood's name, like "bored"), which game started and ended, roughly how long it lasted (for example "1–3 minutes"), the anonymous "Feel any better?" answer, and when the support panel was opened. Nothing you type is recorded and there is no session recording. If your browser sends Do Not Track, PostHog isn't loaded. See PostHog's privacy policy.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views and page speed without cookies or fingerprinting (Cloudflare Web Analytics).

Hosting

The site runs on Cloudflare Pages, which processes requests to deliver and protect the site.

Advertising

In the future we may show ads from Google AdSense, only between games and never on the home page, mood pages or support page. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings. Where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent first. Your mood is never shared with any ad network.

Children

Mood Games is made for a general audience. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
